|
Topeka left fielder Darrell Prince played a vital role in his team's 5-2 triumph over Biloxi. He was 3 for 4 with a home run and 2 singles, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once for Topeka. Adam Anderson converted his 1st save in 2 tries. The Predators sit in third place in the Roy Halladay League Jim Leyland Division with a record of 47-50.
The Predators got a big at-bat from shortstop Roberto Guzmán. For the game, Guzmán went 1 for 3 with a double and a walk. In the bottom of the sixth, with runners on 1st and 2nd, he stroked a run-scoring double. His 7th double of the season gave Topeka a 2-1 lead.
"You can't get too high when things go well, or too low when things go bad. Right now, I'm just happy we got the win," Prince told the Topeka Chronicle.
