The Marysville Monarchs topped the Pacifica Shamrocks, 8-3, in Cory Lidle League action at Mitts Fieldhouse. The player of the game was Marysville pitcher Gabriel Mendoza. Marysville is now 43-51, Pacifica 60-37.

Alex Diaz, who is tied for 2nd in the CLL in triples with 6, aided the Marysville cause with a 2-run double in the bottom of the third. For the game, the third baseman was 3 for 4 with a triple and a double. He drove in 2 runs and scored once.
