The Riverside Red Bulls picked up a win at Red Bull Stadium, knocking off the Boise Hawks, 3-2. Starting pitcher Masayoshi Tanaka played a key role in the triumph. Scott Bernard notched his 2nd save in 3 chances. The Red Bulls bumped their record to 45-44 with this latest triumph.

Had Bill Kehoe not delivered a key base hit in the bottom of the seventh, the outcome might have been different. Instead, with two down and the bases empty, Kehoe hit a solo home run. That made the score 3-2, in favor of the Red Bulls.

"We played a good game and came out on top," said Kehoe.
