Ishibashi Slugs Spartans to 22-6 Win

The Long Island Ducks and Sandy Springs Spartans cranked it up at Long Island Stadium.
Hirofumi Ishibashi made an impact in the 22-6 Sandy Springs win over Long Island. Ishibashi, who is tied for 2nd in the RHL in RBI with 72, belted 2 home runs, while scoring 4 times and driving in 6. The Spartans bumped their record to 43-42 with this latest triumph.
Sabino Acosta, who is rated as the 75th best prospect by BNN, aided the Sandy Springs cause with a 2-run double in the top of the third. For the game, the catcher was 2-6 with a double and a walk. He scored 2 runs and drove in 3.
"You can't get too high when things go well, or too low when things go bad. Right now, I'm just happy we got the win," Ishibashi told the Sandy Springs Herald.
