Joe Sheridan made an impact in the 10-6 Frisco win over Boise. Sheridan, who leads the CLL with a .358 batting average, went 4-4 with a double, 3 singles, and a walk. Frisco reliever Roberto Saucedo picked up the win to move to 1-0. Cristo Cruz suffered the loss. Jim Currie notched his 4th save in 4 chances.

Frisco relied on the hitting of Troy Tisdale to pick up the win. The first baseman clubbed a 2-run single in the top of the third inning to put the Rams on top, 4-3. For the game, Tisdale had 1 home run and 1 single in 5 at-bats.

"You can't get too high when things go well, or too low when things go bad. Right now, I'm just happy we got the win," Tisdale told the Frisco Bulletin.

The Rams bumped their record to 47-38 with this latest triumph.
