The Pacifica Shamrocks defeated the Buzzard's Bay Beetlecats, 13-2, at Bloomfield Road today. Leading the charge for Pacifica was shortstop Dave Evans. He was 2-5 with a double. He scored 2 times and drove in 3. Pacifica improves to 53-32 with the win. They lead their division by 7½ games.

The Shamrocks got a big at-bat from first baseman Ricardo Aragon. For the game, Aragon was 1-5 with a double and a walk. In the top of the first, with a runner on 1st, he stroked a run-scoring double. His 13th double of the season gave Pacifica a 1-0 lead.

"The Shamrocks definitely had our number," said Buzzard's Bay manager Enrique Ramírez.
