Late Rally by Osos Secures Win
|
The Ruidoso Osos knocked off the Madison Beehive, 6-5, at The Hive. Vicente Cetulio, who captured player of the game honors, was a big reason Ruidoso won. The right fielder went 2 for 3 with a home run and a walk. He scored 2 runs. The Osos bumped their record to 45-38 with this latest triumph.
The Osos got a big at-bat from designated hitter Jim Kuntz. For the game, Kuntz went 1-4 with a double, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. In the top of the second, with the bases loaded, he stroked a 2-run double. His 2nd double of the season gave Ruidoso a 2-0 lead.
"Say want you want about this team, they play nine innings hard," said Ruidoso manager John Perry.
