The Silicon Valley Hackers eked out a 5-4 win versus the Fraser Valley Black Bears at The Stetson Bowl. Nobody did more than catcher Ryan LeMaster, who captured player of the game honors. Silicon Valley improves to 49-32 with the win. They lead their division by 5˝ games.
The Hackers got a big at-bat from right fielder Joe Dolinger. For the game, Dolinger went 2 for 6 with 2 singles. He drove in 2 runs. In the top of the 11th, with the bases loaded, he stroked a 2-run single. His 54th hit of the season gave Silicon Valley a 5-3 lead.
"Winning the game is always the first objective," Dolinger said.
