The Hive was the site of an exciting ballgame between the Madison Beehive and the Ruidoso Osos.

Ruidoso got a terrific performance from designated hitter Jasper Boland, but it wasn't enough to beat the Madison Beehive. Madison won the The Hive contest, 5-4. Boland was the player of the game despite being on the losing side. He hit 2 home runs. Madison now has a 3-game win streak.

A crucial at-bat came with a runner on 1st and one out in the bottom of the eighth inning. That's when center fielder Juan Mendez hit a double. The Beehive went on to win.

"We'll relax tonight and get back after it tomorrow," Mendez said after the game.
