Victory Pushes Rams Record to 43-37
|
Jason Scroggins was instrumental in his team's 9-8 triumph over the Spokane Bulldogs. The left fielder was 2 for 4 with a home run and a double. He scored 2 times and drove in 2 for the Frisco Rams. Frisco reliever Alberto Rafael was the winner. His record is now 4-3. The losing pitcher was Danny Stewart. Jim Currie converted his 2nd save in 2 tries.
The Rams got a big at-bat from shortstop Todd Gladue. For the game, Gladue went 2-5 with 2 singles, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. In the top of the seventh, with runners on 1st and 2nd, he stroked a run-scoring single. His 13th hit of the season gave Frisco a 9-8 lead.
"We were able to get some things going offensively," said Scroggins.
The Rams bumped their record to 43-37 with this latest triumph.
