UFO Field was the site for Roy Halladay League action featuring the Phoenix Lights and Sandy Springs Spartans.
Sabino Acosta left his imprint on the 8-2 Sandy Springs win against the Phoenix Lights. Acosta, who is rated as the 75th best prospect by BNN, went 1-4 with a home run and a walk, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. The Spartans bumped their record to 39-38 with this latest triumph.
Sandy Springs grabbed the momentum in the top of the fifth, when Acosta, who is rated as the 75th best prospect by BNN, hit a 3-run home run. His 1st home run of the season put the Spartans out in front, 5-2.
