Mustang Topple Red Bulls with Late Rally
The Carson City Mustang topped the Riverside Red Bulls, 9-5, with catcher Morgan Kowalkowski playing a big role. Kowalkowski went 3 for 4 with a double and 2 singles. He drove in 3 runs for the Mustang in the win. The 5th-place Mustang improved to 34-44.

Kowalkowski had a game-changing double in the top of the ninth. On a first pitch changeup from Scott Bernard, he banged a bases-clearing double to left-center, giving the Mustang a 7-4 lead. It was the 3rd double of the year for Kowalkowski.

"We'll pop the top on a cold one and get back to work tomorrow," Kowalkowski said.
