Though the conditions were not ideal, the Carson City Mustang and Spokane Bulldogs came back from a rain delay to finish their game.

Spokane right fielder Bobby Lara had a good game, even if his team did not. The Bulldogs dropped a 11-8 decision to Carson City at The Kennel. Lara was 3 for 5 with a home run, a double, and a walk. He scored 3 runs and drove in 2. Carson City reliever Miguel Gonzáles was the winner. His record is now 3-1. The losing pitcher was Kevin Labbee.

The Mustang got a big at-bat from second baseman Héctor Martínez. For the game, Martínez went 1 for 4 with a double and was hit by a pitch, while scoring 2 times. In the top of the ninth, with runners on 1st and 2nd, he stroked a run-scoring double. His 15th double of the season gave Carson City a 9-8 lead.
