Loftis Dazzles in Ruidoso Win
Spirited fans at San Jose Municipal Stadium greeted the Silicon Valley Hackers for their clash with the Ruidoso Osos.

Ruidoso Osos starter Danny Loftis was in a groove as he led his team to a win over the Silicon Valley Hackers, 9-0. The Osos bumped their record to 39-34 with this latest triumph.

Loftis gave Ruidoso a solid start. The right-hander allowed no runs on 2 hits over 7.1 innings.

In postgame remarks to the Ruidoso Observer, Loftis was in a reflective mood. "Sometimes," he said, "I can't believe my good luck. Playing a game and making a living at it."
