The Pacifica Shamrocks picked up a win at McCormick Field, knocking off the Frisco Rams, 5-1. Starting pitcher Jose Artola, who captured player of the game honors, was a big reason why. Artola, the winner, moves to 3-1. He threw 6.2 innings of 3-hit ball, while fanning 3 and giving up 1 walk.

Daniel Cruz, who is tied for 4th in the CLL in home runs with 14, chipped in for Pacifica with a solo home run in the bottom of the fourth. For the game, the right fielder had 2 hits in 3 at-bats with 1 home run, 1 single, 1 run scored, and 2 RBI.
