The Biloxi Bullets met little resistance from the Youngstown Tune-Ups, beating them 11-2 at Joey Naples Memorial Colloseum. Carlos Espinosa led the way. He went 3 for 5 with a home run, a double, and a walk. He scored 2 runs and drove in 3 for Biloxi. The Bullets improved to 28-40.

Eduardo Castillo aided the Biloxi cause with a run-scoring sacrifice fly in the top of the third. For the game, the first baseman drew 1 walk.

"We'll put this win in our pocket and go after the next one," said Espinosa.
