The Biloxi Bullets defeated the Riverside Red Bulls, 3-2, in Cory Lidle League action at Red Bull Stadium, with Biloxi pitcher Frank Justiniano named player of the game. Justiniano picked up the win for Biloxi, going 5.2 innings. He gave up 2 runs on 7 hits. He now sports a record of 5-1. Doug Durham converted his 15th save in 17 tries.
Kazuki Ito aided the Biloxi cause with a run-scoring single in the top of the fifth. For the game, the left fielder went 1-3 with 2 walks.
"We were in it," said Riverside manager Will Hunt. "We just didn't score enough runs."
With the win, the Bullets improved to 27-39.
