Edwin Ruiz made an impact in the 9-8 San Antonio win over Sandy Springs. Ruiz, who is tied for 7th in the RHL in doubles with 14, went 3-5 with a home run and a double. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. The second-place Storm Troopers now have a 4-game winning streak.

The Storm Troopers got a big at-bat from shortstop Ryuzaburo Nishiyama. For the game, Nishiyama went 1 for 2 with a home run. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. In the top of the ninth, with a runner on 2nd, he stroked a 2-run home run. His 3rd home run of the season gave San Antonio a 8-6 lead.
