Ducks Topple Snaps as Wada Shines
The Long Island Ducks beat the Cincinnati Snaps, 16-6, at Long Island Stadium. The Ducks got a fine performance from third baseman Shoya Wada, who captured player of the game honors. He was 3 for 4 with a home run, 2 singles, a walk, and was hit by a pitch, while scoring 3 runs and driving in 2. David Tankersley, credited with the save, is now 1 for 1 in save opportunities. The Ducks bumped their record to 34-32 with this latest triumph.

Hyeon-san Chong aided the Long Island cause with a run-scoring walk in the bottom of the fifth. For the game, the second baseman drew 2 walks.

"We swung the bats good throughout the lineup," said Long Island skipper Blake Malone.
