|
San Diego pitcher Robinson Pedercini gave the Beavers all they could handle, but in the end, Portland left The Brew Stade with a 6-4 win. Pedercini allowed 2 earned runs on 3 hits over 8 innings. Portland reliever Alberto Ramírez was the winner. His record is now 1-2. Mitsuzuka Koyama took the loss. Portland is now 19-21.
Robert Mentzer, who is tied for 3rd in the RCL in doubles with 11, aided the Portland cause with a run-scoring walk in the top of the tenth. For the game, the left fielder drew 1 walk.
