The Biloxi Bullets defeated the Ruidoso Osos, 9-3, at The Sand Dune. Biloxi third baseman Dusty Hicks was named player of the game for his superb performance. He hit 2 home runs, while adding 7 RBI and scoring twice. Biloxi is now 26-34, Ruidoso 33-31.

Hicks contributed a big hit, a grand slam home run, for Biloxi in the bottom of the first. With his team trailing 2-1, Hicks took a fastball from Eduardo Muniz and stroked the home run to left. His 2nd home run of the season allowed the Bullets to leap in front, 5-2.

"You win some, you lose some. I don't get too caught up in all that," said Hicks.
