The Rock River Rats and Fraser Valley Black Bears were greeted by an enthusiastic crowd at The Rat Hole.

John Haley had a hand in Fraser Valley defeating Rock River by the score of 7-3. Haley went 3 for 4 at the plate, scoring 2 times and driving in 1 runs. Fraser Valley starter Oscar Saucedo was credited with the win after throwing 90 pitches over 6 innings. His record now stands at 3-3.

It could have been a different outcome for Fraser Valley, had it not been for Dave Calderon, the speedster . Calderon contributed a run-scoring single in the top of the fourth inning to put Fraser Valley up, 4-3.

"Winning the game is always the first objective," Calderon said.
