Lights Topple Monarchs with Late Rally
Fans who gathered at Mitts Fieldhouse saw a good contest between the Phoenix Lights and Marysville Monarchs.

Lights left fielder Jamie Rose put his stamp on his team's 4-2 win over the Marysville Monarchs. Rose was 2-4 with a home run, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once for Phoenix in the contest. Phil Kettenring nailed down his 8th save.

In a game filled with surprises, perhaps none was as big as Rose's contribution. The Phoenix left fielder is a relative newcomer. With two out in the top of the eighth, when the Lights had the bases loaded, Rose delivered a crucial 2-run single.

"We came in and got the job done. That's what it's all about in this business," said Rose.

The Lights improve their record to 26-31 with the win over Marysville.
