Long Island catcher Martin Poliskin had 5 ribbies while helping his team defeat the Sandy Springs Spartans, 8-5. Long Island reliever Stuart Organ picked up the win, upping his record to 3-0. Chris Tattrie was saddled with the loss. Long Island has now won 4 straight.

Poliskin had a big at-bat with the bases loaded in the bottom of the third inning, when he hit a grand slam. The Ducks went on to win.
