Osos Bang Out 8-5 Win Versus Buzzard's Bay
|
Despite a great performance by Buzzard's Bay first baseman Kevin Howard, the Ruidoso Osos defeated the Beetlecats by the score of 8-5 at Bear Cave. Howard went 2-3 with a home run and 2 walks, while scoring 2 times. Bob Sulewski converted his 14th save in 16 tries. The Osos bumped their record to 32-27 with this latest triumph.
Vicente Cetulio aided the Ruidoso cause with a bases-clearing double in the bottom of the second. For the game, the right fielder was 1 for 4 with a double, while adding 3 RBI.
"Nice to see our side come away with the win," Cetulio said after the game.
