The 2034 season is getting ugly for Las Vegas.

Santa Fe starter Oliver Romero had a strong outing against the Las Vegas Aces at Sin City Stadium. The right-hander was a big part of his team's 8-2 win. The Aces, at 12-25, have lost 4 straight games.

Fernando Germán, who won the Rookie of the Year Award in 2022, aided the Santa Fe cause with a run-scoring walk in the top of the eighth. For the game, the pinch hitter drew 1 walk.

"We'll enjoy this win," said Germán. "But there's more we hope to accomplish."
