Bulldogs Lose, 4-1, at The Stetson Bowl

Fraser Valley and Spokane duked it out at The Stetson Bowl and the Black Bears came out victorious.
Fraser Valley pitcher Ramón Martínez did his part in helping his team beat the Spokane Bulldogs, 4-1. The right-hander kept opposing batters in check throughout the game. The winning pitcher was Martínez, now 5-2. He tossed 6 innings of 2-hit ball, while walking 4 and fanning 6.
John Hardwick swatted a 2-run home run for Fraser Valley in the bottom of the second. The third baseman went 2 for 4 for the game, including 1 home run and 1 double. He scored 2 runs and batted in 2.
"I made some pitches when I had to," said Martínez.
The Black Bears bumped their record to 34-20 with this latest triumph.
