Jennings Shines in Beehive Win
The Madison Beehive trumped the San Antonio Storm Troopers, 10-6, at The Hive. Madison center fielder Jim Jennings was named player of the game for his performance. He was 2-4 with a home run and a walk. He scored 2 times and drove in 5. The winner was Madison reliever Seisaburo Sasaki, now 3-3. The loser was Tagashashi Ueda. Vince Johnson picked up the save for Madison, his 5th of the year.

The Beehive got a big at-bat from first baseman Ji-hoon Park. For the game, Park went 1-2 with 2 walks. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. In the bottom of the seventh, with runners on 2nd and 3rd, he stroked a 2-run single. His 42nd hit of the season gave Madison a 8-6 lead.

"We'll grab a cold one tonight and go after another win tomorrow," Jennings said.

Even with the win, the Beehive have a dismal 14-39 record.
