Kay Now 4-0 After Subduing Beetlecats
|
The Pacifica Shamrocks got a magnificent performance from pitcher Owen Kay, who muffled the Buzzard's Bay offense en route to a tight 2-0 Shamrocks win at McCormick Field. Danny Posada was called on to finish, recording his 11th save. The Shamrocks bumped their record to 32-22 with this latest triumph.
Kay, now 4-0, scattered 2 hits over 6 innings for the Shamrocks.
"We made a couple of mistakes," said Buzzard's Bay skipper Enrique Ramírez, "and it cost us."
