Frisco and Riverside duked it out at Red Bull Stadium and the Rams came out victorious.

The Rams grabbed a win, 6-3, at Red Bull Stadium, overcoming a fine effort from Riverside pitcher Héctor Bello. Bello went 5 innings and allowed 2 earned runs. The win was credited to Melvin Sanchez in relief. His record improves to 3-0. Héctor Bello took the loss. Aaron Carter recorded his 1st save for Frisco.

Toshifumi Kaneko, who is tied for 9th in the CLL in bases on balls with 33, aided the Frisco cause with a 3-run home run in the top of the eighth. For the game, the designated hitter was 1 for 4 with a home run, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once.

"We did a lot of things right," said Kaneko.

Riverside's current losing streak is now 4 games.
