The Frisco Rams defeated the Long Island Ducks, 4-2, in Cory Lidle League action at Outlander Park, with Frisco first baseman Josh Wheeler named player of the game. Frisco reliever Nathan Diprose got the win, raising his record to 3-2. Jerry Hughes was tagged with the loss. Frisco currently is in 4th place in the Cory Lidle League Lou Piniella League at 29-24.

Wheeler had a game-changing single in the bottom of the sixth. On a 1-0 fastball from Jerry Hughes, he banged a run-scoring single to center, giving the Rams a 3-2 lead. It was the 30th hit of the year for Wheeler.

"I felt we were ready to go," said Frisco manager Will Bartlett. "Our pregame was pretty good."
