Hawks Topple Snaps with Late Rally
The Boise Hawks had to overcome a big game from Cincinnati center fielder Maurice Poindexter to leave Basque Block Field with a 8-3 victory. Poindexter went 2 for 3 with a home run, while scoring 2 times. The Hawks bumped their record to 30-21 with this latest triumph.

The Hawks got a big at-bat from shortstop Miguel Garza. For the game, Garza went 2 for 3 with 2 singles and a walk. In the bottom of the eighth, with runners on 1st and 2nd, he stroked a run-scoring single. His 49th hit of the season gave Boise a 4-3 lead.

Garza told a Boise News reporter that he was "satisfied" with the win.
