Wright Helps Wichita Cruise to 10-3 Win
A 3-RBI performance from Bob Wright, who is tied for 3rd in the RHL in extra base hits with 25, helped the Wichita Wolverines beat the Youngstown Tune-Ups, 10-3. The Wolverines bumped their record to 32-18 with this latest triumph.

Willis Pierce, who is tied for 5th in the RHL in runs scored with 37, chipped in for Wichita with a 2-run home run in the top of the fifth. For the game, the designated hitter had 2 hits in 5 at-bats with 1 home run, 1 single, 1 run scored, and 2 RBI.

Wright told a Wichita News reporter that he was "satisfied" with the win.
