Beetlecats Use Late-Game Magic to Beat Bulldogs
Buzzard's Bay and Spokane duked it out at The Kennel and the Beetlecats came out victorious.

The Buzzard's Bay Beetlecats beat the Spokane Bulldogs, 4-3, at The Kennel. The Beetlecats got a fine performance from designated hitter Raúl Molina, who captured player of the game honors. He was 2 for 2 with a double, 2 walks, and was hit by a pitch. Getting the save was Kenny Moran, his 1st.

Molina had a game-changing single in the top of the ninth. On a 0-1 cutter from Kevin Labbee, he banged a run-scoring single to center, giving the Beetlecats a 4-3 lead. It was the 22nd hit of the year for Molina.

"We can always improve and get better, but we're feeling confident after that win," said Molina.

The 'W' lifts Buzzard's Bay's record to 18-28.
