Cornhuskers Turn Back Phoenix, 2-1

The DeKalb Cornhuskers turned back the Phoenix Lights, 2-1, at The Corn Crib. Omar Cisneros was named player of the game for his fine performance. He went 3 for 4 with 3 singles and a walk. DeKalb is now riding a 4-game win streak.
Eric Daniels drew 1 walk for DeKalb. The 23-year old right fielder had a key at-bat in the bottom of the seventh. With one out and the bases loaded, he broke a 1-1 tie with a run-scoring walk off Ernesto Guevara. It was his 17th walk of the season.
"We'll enjoy this win," said Cisneros. "But there's more we hope to accomplish."
