The Ruidoso Osos relied on the hitting of third baseman Mel Bourque to stop the Biloxi Bullets, 5-3. For the game, Bourque went 2-4 with a home run, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. The Osos improve their record to 25-21 with the win over Biloxi.
Bourque had a big at-bat with runners on 1st and 2nd in the bottom of the fourth inning, when he hit a 3-run home run. The Osos went on to win.
"I'm just happy to help the team win," Bourque told the Ruidoso Observer.
