Chia-liang Li put on a hitting clinic today at The Coliseum, spraying hits all over the ballpark and lashing Sandy Springs pitchers for 5 hits in 6 at-bats. However, the offensive onslaught wasn't enough for the Spokane Bulldogs, who still fell, 17-14.

"Sometimes I try to pull the ball too much, so today I just went with the pitch," Li told reporters after the game. "It's great to get 5 hits, but it would have been nicer to win the ballgame. too."

Chia-liang Li hit a solo-shot off Chris Tattrie in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, singled in the 4th, hit an RBI single in the 6th, grounded out in the 8th and hit an RBI single in the 9th.

Li is currently batting .313 with 3 home runs, 13 RBIs and 12 runs scored. He has 30 hits in 96 at-bats.
