The DeKalb Cornhuskers took Long Island pitcher António Domínguez's best shot and still were able to claim a win at The Corn Crib. The final score had DeKalb getting past the Ducks, 3-2. Domínguez went 6.1 innings and allowed 1 earned run, striking out 4. DeKalb now has a 3-game win streak.

The Cornhuskers got a big at-bat from second baseman Paul Seibold. For the game, Seibold was 1 for 4 with a double. He drove in 2 runs. In the bottom of the eighth, with the bases loaded, he stroked a 2-run double. His 5th double of the season gave DeKalb a 3-2 lead.

"It feels good to get this one," Seibold told the DeKalb Daily.
