With designated hitter Hideki Kobayashi leading the charge, the Biloxi Bullets defeated the Ruidoso Osos, 9-2, at Bear Cave. Kobayashi was 3-5 with a home run and 2 singles. He scored 2 times. Reliever Taylor MacRuer picked up the win. His record improves to 1-0. Eduardo Muniz took the loss. Máximo Larreta earned the save for Biloxi, his 1st of the year.

Kazuki Ito, who is tied for 5th in the CLL in doubles with 11, helped out the Biloxi cause in the top of the eighth inning with a run-scoring single. For the game, the pinch hitter was 1-1.

"We were firing on all cylinders today," said Bullets manager Manuel Ruíz.
