Shamrocks Come Back Late, Nip Monarchs
The Pacifica Shamrocks faced a tough opponent in Marysville pitcher Eduardo Alaniz, but did just enough to pull out the victory at McCormick Field by a final score of 4-3. Alaniz went 6 innings and allowed 1 earned run. The Shamrocks bumped their record to 26-17 with this latest triumph.

The clutch at-bat came in the bottom of the ninth inning, when Pacifica third baseman Bobby Savoy, facing Brian Reddin, had a run-scoring walk. It gave the Shamrocks the 4-3 win.

"This place sure got loud," said Joe Leftwich, the Pacifica manager.
