Osos Use Late-Game Magic to Beat Lights
Mel Bourque left his imprint on the 7-4 Ruidoso win against the Phoenix Lights. Bourque went 2 for 4 with a home run and was hit by a pitch. He drove in 4 runs and scored once. The Osos bumped their record to 23-20 with this latest triumph.

Bourque had a game-changing home run in the bottom of the ninth. On a first pitch fastball from Jimmy Shumaker, he banged a 3-run home run to left, giving the Osos a 7-4 lead. It was the 1st home run of the year for Bourque.

"This place sure got loud," said John Perry, the Ruidoso manager.
