San Antonio Storm Troopers starter Dale Martin turned in an exceptional performance against the Madison Beehive at The Clone Army, resulting in a San Antonio win, 5-0. Martin, now 3-1, was the winner. In 6.1 innings, he gave up 3 hits, while striking out 6, walking 4, and allowing no earned runs. San Antonio is now 26-12, 2 games up in the Roy Halladay League Jim Leyland Division.

The Storm Troopers got a big at-bat from catcher Peter Southern. For the game, Southern went 1 for 3 with a home run and a walk, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. In the bottom of the first, with a runner on 2nd, he stroked a 2-run home run. His 11th home run of the season gave San Antonio a 2-0 lead.
