Rats Rally For Late Win Over Bulldogs

Conditions were not ideal but Rock River and Spokane were able to put their game in the books.
Rock River beat Spokane at The Kennel, eking out a 4-3 win. The win was due in large part to catcher Nelson Marcial, who earned player of the game honors. The Rats bumped their record to 21-15 with this latest triumph.
Marcial had a game-changing single in the top of the ninth. On a 1-0 cutter from Tokuhei Yano, he banged a 2-run single to right, giving the Rats a 4-3 lead. It was the 44th hit of the year for Marcial.
"I like what I saw today," said Rock River manager Bruce Leah, "and I can't wait to get back out there and do it again."
