Getting a good performance from first baseman António Ayala, the Marysville Monarchs defeated the Biloxi Bullets, 5-4. Ayala hit 2 home runs for the Monarchs. The Bullets fall to 12-19 and continue their lackluster start to the 2034 season.

Kyousuke Ohnuki was the walk-off hero for Marysville. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Monarchs third baseman hit a dramatic run-scoring double to send the teams home.

"It's great to get the crowd pumped up," Ayala said.
