The Fraser Valley Black Bears downed the Spokane Bulldogs, 7-6, at The Stetson Bowl. The Black Bears were led by Alex Allen, who captured player of the game honors. He was 2 for 3 with a home run and was hit by a pitch, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. Fraser Valley reliever Nobutoshi Katayama picked up the win, bumping his record to 2-1. Danny Stewart was collared with the loss. Fraser Valley is off to a hot start at 22-10.

Dave Calderon was the walk-off hero for Fraser Valley. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Black Bears center fielder hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.
