Fernandez Sensational for Bulldogs

Spokane used a superb performance from starting pitcher Ruben Fernandez to down the Fraser Valley Black Bears, 3-0. The save was credited to Tokuhei Yano, his 3rd. Losses have been few and far between for the Black Bears so far this season. Their record drops to 21-10.
Fernandez, now 3-2, scattered 3 hits over 8 innings for the Bulldogs.
"We need to keep playing good baseball," Fernandez told the Spokane Bulletin.
