Shamrocks Bang Out 8-5 Win Versus Ruidoso
|
Daniel Cruz made an impact in the 8-5 Pacifica win over Ruidoso. Cruz, who is tied for 8th in the CLL in RBI with 21, went 2-5 with a home run and a double. He scored 2 times. Dario Reyes picked up the win with 5.2 innings of work. He allowed 4 earned runs on 7 hits, while walking 1 and striking out 2. On the season, he is now 5-0. Danny Posada finished to wrap up his 8th save.
Yasusaburo Sato was 1 for 4 for Pacifica. The 23-year old center fielder had a key at-bat in the top of the fourth. With one out and the bases loaded, he broke a 3-3 tie with a run-scoring ground out off Eduardo Muniz. It was his 6th RBI of the season.
"We cashed in when we had the chance," said Pacifica manager Joe Leftwich.
At 21-11, the Shamrocks have played well so far.
