Late Rally by Bulldogs Secures Win
Spokane shortstop Dong-woo Lee was instrumental in his team's 9-8 win over the Ruidoso Osos. Lee, who is tied for 7th in the RHL in bases on balls with 21, went 4-5 with 3 runs scored to lead the offensive attack for the Bulldogs. Spokane reliever Tokuhei Yano picked up the win, upping his record to 2-0. Bob Sulewski was saddled with the loss. The Osos drop to 14-16 and continue their inconsistent start to the 2034 season.

The clutch at-bat came in the bottom of the ninth inning, when Spokane catcher Paul Nolan, facing Bob Sulewski, had a run-scoring walk. It gave the Bulldogs the 9-8 win.

"It was a solid team effort and we'll try to keep this momentum going," Nolan told reporters after the game.
