The Carson City Mustang topped the Phoenix Lights, 4-3, in Roy Halladay League action at UFO Field. The player of the game was Carson City catcher Alejandro Sandoval. The Lights fall to 11-16 and continue their uneven start to the 2034 season.

The Mustang got a big at-bat from shortstop Mel Dominguez. For the game, Dominguez was 1-4 with a double, while adding 2 RBI. In the top of the third, with runners on 2nd and 3rd, he stroked a 2-run double. His 3rd double of the season gave Carson City a 3-2 lead.

"I'm just looking for a good pitch that I can hit well," said Dominguez. "And not try to do too much."
