Victory Pushes Snaps Record to 12-11
|
Cincinnati third baseman Justin Liller was instrumental in his team's 6-2 win over the Sandy Springs Spartans. Liller went 3-4 with 2 runs scored to lead the offensive attack for the Snaps. Bryan Blashill was called on to finish, recording his 6th save. The Spartans drop to 11-11 and continue their inconsistent start to the 2034 season.
The Snaps got a big at-bat from catcher Roland Kuns. For the game, Kuns was 1-3, while adding 3 RBI. In the bottom of the second, with runners on 2nd and 3rd, he stroked a 2-run single. His 15th hit of the season gave Cincinnati a 3-1 lead.
"Good baseball players make you a smarter manager," said Cincinnati manager António Álvarez.
